MALO STYLE GUIDE

Discover Color Analysis

The Color Analysis is the analysis and study of the colors matched to the person using the colors of the seasons. Used in the early 1980s by the Hollywood Stars, it has spread to the present day to suggest colors that enhance the person.

A short online guide to choose the one that best enhances us to make our wardrobe a place of pleasant well-being.

The color analysis divides people into 4 seasons:
Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn.

Each of us belongs to a season that corresponds
a palette of more valorizing colors.

UNDERTONE

The temperature of our colors
of skin, eyes and hair,
which can be cold or warm.

VALUE

How our colors
are light or dark.

INTENSITY

The brilliance or saturation.

SUMMER

Cold and delicate colours

Those who have a mix of very soft and homogeneous skin, eyes and hair will wear colours equally cool and soft with more ease.  The pastel colours and shades of sorbet such as candy pink, light blue and grey will enhance as never before people with diaphanous skin, green, blue or hazel eyes and hair in all shades of ash blonde.

Summer is a light, cool and delicate season. If an extreme clarity in the colors of the skin, eyes and hair dominates, we are faced with the Light subgroup. When, on the other hand, the first thing that catches the eye is the dustiness and delicacy of the colours, the sub-group is Soft. Finally, those who have above all very light skin and medium chromatic intensity belong to the Cool subgroup.

AUTUMN

Warm and delicate colours

Canary yellow, beige, ivory, olive green, hazelnut... Warmer and softer tones light up the eyes of those with golden or peach skin, medium-dark eyes ranging from hazel to olive green and hair ranging from golden blonde to brown, mahogany red or copper.

Autumn people have warm, deep and delicate colors. Those with natural red hair or particularly golden skin belong to the Warm subgroup; those who have particularly rich and deep colors, on the other hand, are part of the Deep subgroup. Finally, those with warm but above all delicate colors belong to the Soft subgroup.

WINTER

Cold and bright colours

The more saturated, cooler and brighter shades are those that
most enhance people who have naturally lunar, contrasting and vibrant colours.
For those with very pale skin, eyes ranging from emerald-green to deep black, and white, brown ash or raven hair; but also those who have an olive and very intense complexion.
Colours such as dark blue, black, optical white and fuchsia will best enhance this contrast.

The subgroups of Winter are called Cool, Deep and Bright. Who belongs to the Cool subgroup has extremely cold colors. Winter Deep people, on the other hand, usually have an olive complexion, or on the contrary very light skin in contrast to very dark eyes and hair. Finally, people with jeweled eyes, that are light and bright, are part of the Bright subgroup.

SPRING

Warm and bright colours

To emphasize the colours that are naturally light, warm and bright, you need the colours that most recall spring: sunny yellow, lawn green, turquoise...

They are the ones that will give the most to those with a pale golden skin, hair ranging from copper red to chocolate brown, passing through wheat blond, and with bright eyes, clear and sparkling.

When brilliance dominates, especially in the color of the eyes, we are faced with an example of a Bright subgroup. If, on the other hand, the main feature is found in the clarity of the colors, the subgroup is Light. Finally, when the colors of the skin, eyes and hair are above all warm, the subgroup to which they belong is called Warm.
